Zydus MedTech has entered a strategic partnership with Braile Biomedica from Brazil to exclusively market Transcatheter Aortic Valve Implantation (TAVI) technology in India, Europe, and select other markets. This collaboration aligns with Zydus MedTech's goal to expand its footprint in the growing interventional cardiology sector, currently valued over USD 6 billion, responding to increased demand for minimally invasive cardiac procedures.

Under this agreement, Zydus MedTech will commercialize Braile Biomedica’s advanced TAVI system while also retaining rights to manufacture certain components, enhancing flexibility and innovation. The partnership is expected to accelerate TAVI adoption globally, offering patients reduced procedural risks and faster recovery times compared to traditional surgeries.

The two companies will launch a series of innovations over the next three years, supported by a robust clinical research program, further solidifying their commitment to improving patient outcomes and accessibility to critical cardiovascular care.
