National Fertilizers Limited has announced a board meeting to approve a Joint Venture Agreement for establishing a new Ammonia-Urea Complex Fertilizer Plant at Namrup, Assam. The company plans to acquire an 18% stake in the joint venture, with an estimated investment of ₹572.45 crore. This strategic move aims to enhance production capabilities and strengthen its position in the fertilizer industry. The project’s mechanical completion and commissioning are targeted within 48 months from the start date. This initiative is expected to drive operational efficiencies and support long-term growth objectives for shareholders.
