Marico has reaffirmed its sustainability vision by targeting 93% renewable energy usage by 2030, aiming to triple its clean energy usage since 2017. The company’s Jalgaon unit has signed a Green Energy Agreement with MSEDCL to source 100% green energy. Currently, Marico meets 67.4% of its operational energy needs through renewable sources, with plans to reduce direct GHG emissions by 93% by 2030 and offset the remaining 7% via sequestration and carbon offsets.
