Sammaan Capital Limited reported positive momentum in collections from its legacy loan book, achieving collections of ₹4,235 Cr in Q4FY2024-25, surpassing the target of ₹4,075 Cr. This brings total collections for FY25 to ₹15,325 Cr, with significant contributions of ₹9,461 Cr in H2FY2025 against a target of ₹9,300 Cr. The company also recorded recoveries of ₹2,491 Cr for FY25, with ₹1,680 Cr in H2FY2025, exceeding the targeted ₹1,650 Cr.

The company strategically focused on leveraging provision buffers to sell problematic loan pools to asset reconstruction companies (ARCs), optimizing recoveries without negatively impacting earnings or credit costs. Encouraged by a robust real estate market, Sammaan Capital anticipates continued strength in its legacy loan collections and remains optimistic about its financial trajectory moving forward. Investors should watch closely for further developments in this area.
