Optiemus Unmanned Systems has launched four advanced drones aimed at enhancing India's defense capabilities, unveiled at the Milipol India Exhibition. The drones include the Marak VT100, capable of high-altitude operations with a 20 km range and 3 hours of endurance; the Vajra QC55, featuring real-time imaging and AI analytics for aerial surveillance up to 10 km; a Canister Launched Loitering Munition with a 2.5 kg payload and 30 km control range; and FPV drones with optical fiber cable navigation suitable for surveillance and kamikaze missions.
The company has partnered with Taiwan-based Avix Technology to develop and manufacture high-performance drone components in India under the Make in India initiative. This collaboration is set to strengthen the local defense manufacturing ecosystem and support self-reliance in defense technology. The introduction of these drones signifies a positive outlook for Optiemus in the defense sector, bolstering its market position with innovative, domestically produced technology.
