Infosys Foundation has announced the fourth edition of the Aarohan Social Innovation Awards, committing INR 2 crore to support and empower social innovators in India. The initiative aims to recognize individuals, teams, NGOs, and social enterprises developing impactful technology-based solutions for underprivileged communities. Each winner could receive up to INR 50 lakh.

Submissions for the awards open today and will close on June 15, inviting entries from Indian citizens aged 18 and above. Participants must submit videos showcasing fully functional prototypes or completed projects. A distinguished panel will evaluate the entries based on criteria such as addressing real social challenges and the sustainability of proposed solutions.

This initiative highlights Infosys Foundation's ongoing commitment to innovation in education, healthcare, and environmental sustainability, potentially creating significant social impact.
