Container Corporation of India Ltd (CONCOR) and GAIL (India) Ltd have entered into a Memorandum of Understanding to establish LNG infrastructure across various CONCOR terminals in India, aimed at ensuring a steady supply of LNG fuel for CONCOR’s road transportation needs. The initial phase includes the installation of an LNG station at CONCOR’s terminal in Khodiyar, Ahmedabad. This initiative reinforces CONCOR’s dedication to sustainable logistics, following the establishment of an LNG station at MMLP Khatuwas and the acquisition of 130 LNG trailers, contributing to reduced carbon footprints in operations. GAIL has expressed strong support for CONCOR’s green initiatives and a willingness to explore additional collaborative efforts.
