SBI Cards and Payment Services Limited reported a 39% quarter-over-quarter increase in profit after tax (PAT) for Q4 FY’25, amounting to ₹534 Cr, despite a 19% year-over-year decline. Total revenue for the quarter rose 8% YoY to ₹4,832 Cr driven by a 13% rise in interest income. The company added 1,109K new accounts, contributing to a total card-in-force of 2.08 Cr, marking a 10% increase YoY. However, card spends grew by 11% YoY and receivables rose 10% YoY, indicating an expanding customer base. Asset quality faced some deterioration, with gross non-performing assets increasing to 3.08%. The capital adequacy ratio improved to 22.9%, showcasing a solid financial buffer.
