25-04-2025 | 06:52 pm

Allcargo Logistics has provided its monthly operational update for March 2025, highlighting some significant developments across its business segments.

LCL (Less than Container Load) operations reported a volume of 724 cubic meters, an increase from 604 cubic meters in February, reflecting a recovery in demand post the Chinese New Year slump. However, the near-term demand outlook is expected to remain volatile due to geopolitical uncertainties. Container utilization has remained stable year-on-year.

In FCL (Full Container Load) operations, March 2025 saw a total of 55,374 TEUs, marking a 1% increase year-on-year and a substantial 14% rise from February. Growth was particularly notable in the United States and Canada, while volumes in Latin America held steady.

Air operations showed remarkable growth, with volumes reaching 4,171 kilos, a 72% increase compared to March 2024 and an 80% rise over February. This performance was driven by growth in the US, Canada, Asia Pacific, and the Indian subcontinent.

Overall, Allcargo's operational metrics indicate a positive outlook, particularly in the air freight sector, despite ongoing global uncertainties that warrant close monitoring.
