Seshasayee Paper and Boards Limited (SPB) has entered into multiple agreements with Ganeko Solar Private Limited and Navia One Power Private Limited to establish a 39 MWp wind-solar hybrid power generation facility in Tamil Nadu. This project will consist of approximately 33 MWp (DC) / 22 MW (AC) solar capacity and around 6 MW wind capacity, aimed at supplying energy exclusively to SPB. The company plans to invest up to ₹16.56 crore (cr) to acquire a stake of up to 26.1% in the special purpose vehicle (SPV). This strategic move is designed to meet SPB's solar and wind power requirements, potentially reducing energy costs and fostering a positive outlook for the company’s operational efficiency moving forward.
