The company is seeking shareholder approval through a postal ballot for two significant resolutions.
Firstly, it aims to appoint Mr. George Joseph as a non-executive independent director, effective from June 1, 2025, until the 31st Annual General Meeting in 2028. Mr. Joseph brings over five decades of experience in the banking and financial services sector. His past leadership roles, including Chairman and Managing Director of Syndicate Bank, position him as a valuable asset to the Board.
Secondly, the company seeks to increase its borrowing capacity from ₹100,000 crores to ₹200,000 crores. This expansion in financial flexibility is intended to support anticipated growth, enabling the company to capitalize on emerging opportunities. Both resolutions reflect a proactive approach to governance and financial strategy as the company positions itself for future developments.
