SAMHI Hotels Ltd. has announced a board meeting to convene an Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM) to discuss a proposed investment by Reco Bellflower Private Limited, an affiliate of GIC Pte. Ltd. The investor aims to acquire a 35% stake in three wholly-owned subsidiaries: Ascent Hotels Pvt. Ltd., SAMHI JV Business Hotels Pvt. Ltd., and Innmar Tourism and Hotels Pvt. Ltd. The funds from this investment will be directed towards capital expenditure, future acquisitions, and debt repayment. The target companies have a combined enterprise value of approximately INR 2,200 crore, with shareholder approval being sought for this transaction.
