Indian Bank's Asset Liability Management Committee has revised the Marginal Cost of Funds based Lending Rate (MCLR) and Treasury Bills Linked Lending Rates (TBLR). The MCLR for tenors up to 1 year has been reduced, with the 3-month rate falling from 6.45% to 6.05%. TBLR also decreased, with the 3-month rate now at 6.10%. The Base Rate and Benchmark Prime Lending Rate (BPLR) remain stable at 9.80% and 14.05%, respectively. These adjustments may lower borrowing costs, potentially driving increased lending growth.
