Maruti Suzuki India Limited — Important, 01-05-2025: General Updates

Maruti Suzuki has announced a board meeting on April 2025. April production rose to 179,956 units from 169,751 last year, driven by strong Utility Vehicle growth to 72,640 units (from 60,949). Compact segment output also increased to 82,576 units, while Mini segment, including Alto and S-Presso, declined to 9,714 units. Light Commercial Vehicle production dipped slightly to 3,172 units. Rising Utility Vehicle demand is key to overall volume growth, signaling sustained consumer preference in this segment.
