Spicejet Ltd — Updates, 02-05-2025: Company Update

SpiceJet has announced a board meeting to approve the financial results for the quarter and half-year. The airline has commenced its Haj 2025 operations with an inaugural flight from Gaya to Medina, operating 45 flights in the first phase connecting Gaya, Srinagar, Guwahati, and Kolkata to Medina and Jeddah. Facilitating around 15,500 pilgrims this year, up 18% from 2024, Haj remains a key revenue source. SpiceJet inducted two wide-body Airbus A340s (324 seats each) on key routes, alongside a 189-seater Boeing 737 on the Gaya-Medina route, enhancing capacity and passenger experience.
