Tata Motors has announced a board meeting approving the issuance of unsecured rated NCDs worth ₹500 crore through private placement in two tranches of ₹300 crore and ₹200 crore. These bonds carry a fixed coupon of 7.08% p.a. and will mature in about three years with bullet repayment. Rated CRISIL AA+/Stable, the NCDs are set to be listed on NSE’s Wholesale Debt Market, strengthening Tata Motors’ debt profile while preserving its financial flexibility.
