Apollo Micro Systems has announced a board meeting to consider the financial results for the quarter and half-year. Its subsidiary, Apollo Defence Industries, is acquiring 100% of IDL Explosives Limited for ₹107 Cr. IDL Explosives, with a turnover of ₹623 Cr in FY24, manufactures bulk explosives for mining and infrastructure, boosting Apollo’s Defence Explosives capabilities. This acquisition enhances Apollo’s position as a Tier-I OEM Weapon Systems supplier, tapping into rising domestic defence demand. Completion is expected within 2-3 months.
