BSE Limited — Important, 02-05-2025: Diversification/Disinvestment

BSE has announced the sale of its entire stake in wholly owned subsidiary BSE Institute to AV Financial Experts Network for ₹16.9 crore. BSE Institute accounted for about 1.55% of BSE’s turnover and 1.79% of net worth in FY24, with turnover of ₹28.81 crore and net worth of ₹52.24 crore as of March 2025, after a ₹49 crore equity reduction repayment to BSE. The transaction, expected by end of May, is at arm’s length and excludes promoter group involvement, streamlining BSE’s core business focus.
