Indian Bank has announced a board meeting on the approval of the consolidated financial results for the quarter and financial year ended March 31, 2025. The bank posted a strong consolidated net profit of Rs 10,994.87 crore, up from Rs 8,419.41 crore year-on-year, on total income of Rs 72,050.88 crore. Operating profit climbed to Rs 19,101.48 crore. Asset quality improved with gross NPAs down to 3.09% and a provision coverage ratio of 98.10%. The board approved a healthy dividend of Rs 16.25 per share and plans to raise Rs 5,000 crore via equity and Rs 2,000 crore through AT-1/Tier-2 bonds to fuel growth.
