Indian Bank has announced a board meeting on the financial results for the quarter and half-year. Net profit increased 32% YoY to ₹2956 Cr, supported by a 17% rise in operating profit and 6% growth in net interest income. Advances grew 10% to ₹5.88 lakh Cr, led by retail, agriculture, and MSME segments. Asset quality improved with GNPA down to 3.09% and PCR at 98.1%. Capital adequacy strengthened to 17.94%, with RoA and RoE improving to 1.37% and 21.01%. Digital banking users saw strong growth, enhancing operational efficiency.
