Central Bank of India has announced a board meeting on the financial results for the quarter and half-year.
Central Bank reported strong FY25 results with total business crossing INR7.02 lakh Cr and record net profit of INR3,785 Cr. Asset quality improved with gross NPA at 3.18% and net NPA at 0.55%. NIM stable at 3.40%, ROE at 12.48%, and CRAR at 17.02%. Advances rose 15.24% YoY to INR2.90 lakh Cr, deposits at INR4.12 lakh Cr with CASA near 49%, and CD ratio at 70.53%.
Management aims 14% business growth, 15-16% credit growth, and 12-13% deposit growth in FY26, focusing on balanced segment expansion and digital initiatives. Treasury expects INR600-800 Cr additional gains from interest rate movements. Operating costs rose 12-14% due to wage and recruitment costs, alongside planned tech investments of INR300-500 Cr. Retail asset quality remains stable with strong recovery from written-off accounts.
