DCM Shriram has announced a board meeting on acquiring a 53% stake in DNV Global Private Limited for Rs. 44 Cr, comprising Rs. 31 Cr fresh equity and Rs. 13 Cr from existing promoters. With a Rs. 60 Cr turnover and Rs. 3.35 Cr PAT in FY25, DNV Global makes hardware for windows and doors. This move enhances DCM Shriram’s Fenesta division through backward integration, expanding its product portfolio and boosting operational control in the building systems segment.
