Bata India has announced a management reshuffle with Mr. Uttam Kumar appointed as Senior Vice President – Merchandising & Replenishment, bringing over 20 years of footwear and retail experience. Mr. Satyam Sharma has resigned as Head - Merchandising due to personal reasons. Mr. Kandarp Asher will move from VP – Replenishment to Category Lead - Merchandising, reporting to Mr. Kumar, and will exit senior management by July 31, 2025. This change aims to enhance Bata’s merchandising and replenishment strategy, supporting its operational focus.
