KPIT has announced a board meeting on its 100% acquisition of Caresoft’s Global Engineering Solutions business across the US, UK, Mexico, and Italy for up to USD 191 million (~₹1,580 Cr) payable over four years. This move strengthens KPIT’s footprint in off-highway, truck, and bus segments, boosts its manufacturing engineering capabilities, and fast-tracks entry into China. With 900+ employees and $51 million annual revenue, the acquisition is set to enhance margins and earnings from the first year, reinforcing KPIT’s position in commercial vehicle and mobility solutions.
