Sundaram Clayton Limited — Important, 06-05-2025: General Updates

Sundaram-Clayton has announced a board meeting on 6th May 2025 approving the relocation of all machining activities from its Mahindra World City Plant, Chengalpattu, to its Thervoy Kandigai and Oragadam plants. This consolidation aims to streamline operations, cut costs, and boost production efficiency by leveraging more advanced technology. The Mahindra World City Plant contributed Rs. 261.63 Cr (12.32% of turnover) last fiscal, but the move will not impact overall revenue as operations shift internally. Relocation is expected to complete by September 2025.
