NLC India Limited — Updates, 06-05-2025: Press Release

NLC India Renewables has announced a board meeting to finalize a Power Purchase Agreement for its largest 810 MW solar project at Pugal Solar Park, Rajasthan. The project will generate around 2 billion units of green electricity annually, cutting 1.5 million tons of CO2 emissions. This strengthens NLCIL’s renewable capacity, supporting its 10 GW target by 2030. The company is also pursuing up to 2000 MW of renewable projects and lignite-based thermal power ventures in Rajasthan via joint ventures.
