Shyam Metalics has announced a board meeting to consider the financial results for the quarter and half-year. April sales featured strong volume growth: stainless steel up 4% with 7% higher realizations; pig iron surged 53% MoM on new blast furnace output; CR coil volumes rose 33% MoM alongside pricing gains. HR pipes saw 39% volume growth with a 5.5% price rise. Aluminium foil volumes slipped 21% MoM but rose 18% YoY, with realizations up 19% YoY. Speciality alloys volumes increased 33% YoY despite a 5.8% price dip. Pellet sales doubled YoY with solid monthly gains, driven by capacity expansions.
