Sapphire Foods has announced a board meeting to approve the financial results for the quarter and half-year. Consolidated revenue increased to Rs. 2,881.86 Cr from Rs. 2,594.28 Cr, while profit before tax dropped sharply to Rs. 23.14 Cr from Rs. 69.91 Cr due to goodwill impairment and subsidiary losses. Senior VP & Head of Business Development Puneet Bhatia resigned, with Nandita Bapat Avadhoot stepping in. The company is contesting a Rs. 112.7 Cr GST demand, expecting a positive resolution.
