Shyam Century Ferrous Limited has announced the closure of its EPIP plant in Meghalaya from 7th May 2025 due to rising power tariffs making operations unviable. This plant contributed Rs 146.7 Cr in revenue and Rs 161.2 Cr to net worth in FY24. Operations have fully ceased as of the closure date.
