Coal India Limited — Important, 07-05-2025: Memorandum of Understanding/Agreements

The company signed an MoU with AM Green Ammonia (India) Pvt Ltd to supply renewable power from its 4.5 GW renewable projects for AM Green’s green ammonia plant at Kandla or other sites. This marks Coal India’s strategic move into clean energy, aiming to diversify beyond coal and tap into the growing green hydrogen/ammonia market, which could open new revenue streams and improve its sustainability profile.
