Uno Minda has announced a board meeting to discuss the financial results for the quarter and half-year. The company is expanding its two-wheeler alloy wheel capacity with a new 1.5 million wheels/year facility in Haryana backed by ~200 Cr capex funded via debt and internal accruals. Commercial production has also started on a 2 million wheels capacity expansion in Maharashtra. Total capacity will reach 9.5 million wheels annually, reinforcing Uno Minda’s leadership in the two-wheeler alloy wheel market.
