REC Limited — Board Meeting, 08-05-2025: Outcome of Board Meeting

REC Limited has announced a board meeting to approve the financial results for the quarter and half-year. For FY25, consolidated revenue stood at ₹56,366.55 crore with a profit before tax of ₹20,117.47 crore. Net profit was ₹15,884.23 crore, and EPS at ₹60.20. The Board has approved a final dividend of ₹2.60 per share, totaling ₹18 per share including interim payouts. REC plans a 50:50 JV with Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd via its subsidiary RECPDCL to boost renewable energy and infrastructure projects. Despite some hedging costs, overall income remains strong.
