Gokak Textiles has announced a board meeting to approve the appointment of Mr. Sanjiv Tipnis as an Additional Non-Executive Independent Director, subject to shareholder approval. Mr. Tipnis holds a B. Tech in Chemical Engineering from IIT Kharagpur and an Executive MBA from IIM Ahmedabad, bringing over 43 years of leadership in synthetic textiles, industrial textiles, and related industries. His expertise includes operations, strategic planning, project management, and quality management. He was previously President & CEO at Madura Industrial Textiles and Senior VP Operations at SRF Limited. He is not related to existing directors or promoters.
