2. Strategic Initiatives & Growth Drivers:

The bank is accelerating digital transformation via BOI Omni Neo, improving onboarding and transactions. Project Star focuses on data analytics, fintech integration, and automating processes with RPA/ML to boost efficiency and risk management. Digital offerings now exceed 440 services, onboarding 90 lakh customers in the year. Capital adequacy remains strong with a CRAR of 17.77%, supported by a ₹2,500 Cr Tier II bond issue.

3. Business Developments:

Bank of India expanded its overseas presence with 47 offices in 15 countries and raised USD 500 Mn via syndicated loans to fund growth. Subsidiaries like BOI New Zealand and Indo Zambia Bank contributed profits. Domestic partnerships include asset reconstruction and insurance firms. Customer service saw upgrades in CRM and smoother NACH e-mandate processing.

4. Market Position & Competitive Advantage:

With over 57% of advances in retail, agriculture, and MSME, the bank has a diversified, priority-focused portfolio. A healthy CASA ratio of 40.28% supports stable, low-cost funding. Its strong digital footprint includes 14.3 million UPI users, enhancing competitive positioning. Improved asset quality and provisioning coverage of 92.39% reinforce prudent risk management.
