Shanti Spintex has announced a board meeting on which it approved the acquisition of 100% equity shares of Teesta Spintex Private Limited, making it a wholly-owned subsidiary. Teesta operates in the textile business, involved in yarn and fabric manufacturing and processing. The company was incorporated in 2022 and reported a turnover of Rs. 57.14 Lakhs in FY24. The acquisition, valued at Rs. 4.05 Cr, is a strategic move to enhance Shanti Spintex’s operations and forward integration, funded through internal accruals, with completion expected soon.
