Petro Carbon and Chemicals Limited has commissioned a 10 MW Waste Heat Recovery power plant at its Haldia site, enhancing energy efficiency and cutting costs. It received approval to expand advanced carbon materials capacity by 72,000 TPA and upgrade an existing plant by 48,000 TPA. Its subsidiary entered the carbon chemicals segment, expanding market presence. Despite raw material cost pressures, the company sustained profitability through tight cost controls and is exploring carbon-based recycling, positioning for sustainable growth.
