Eastcoast Steel Ltd — Board Meeting, 10-05-2025: Board Meeting

Eastcoast Steel Limited has announced a board meeting on which it approved the audited financial results for the quarter and year, revealing a net loss before tax of ₹43.75 lakh for the year ended March 31, 2025, compared to a loss of ₹2.68 lakh the previous year. The company reported net profit after tax of ₹11.79 lakh for the quarter but a net loss of ₹14.65 lakh for the full year. Operations are focused solely on trading iron and steel products internationally since manufacturing ceased in 1995 and the plant was disposed of in 2020. There has been a leadership change with the resignation of CEO & CFO Mr. Babush Narayan Kamath due to personal reasons and the appointment of Mr. Ajit Krishna Honyalkar as CEO & CFO. The company is currently facing ongoing legal proceedings before the National Company Law Tribunal related to re-litigation of earlier dismissed petitions.
