Kemp & Company has announced a favorable court order regarding its Mesne Profit claim against Burroughs Wellcome (India) Limited related to possession of 15,000 sq. ft. at DGP House, Mumbai. The court awarded Kemp & Company a total amount of Rs. 38.06 Cr, which includes Rs. 0.87 Cr as Mesne Profits and Rs. 37.19 Cr as simple interest at 9% per annum for the period from June 2001 to January 2002. This ruling supports Kemp’s recovery of dues linked to long-standing possession disputes and positively impacts its asset claims.
