Adani Power has announced a board meeting to discuss the financial results for the quarter and half-year. The company secured a 25-year, 1,500 MW power supply contract with Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation Limited from a new 2x800 MW ultra-supercritical thermal plant in UP. The $2 billion (approx. ₹16,000 Cr) project targets power supply commencement by FY30, offering a competitive tariff of Rs 5.383/unit to meet UP’s rising thermal power demand.
