Reliance NU Energies won 350 MW solar plus 175 MW/700 MWh battery storage in SJVN’s auction at INR 3.33/kWh, making Reliance Power India’s largest Solar + BESS player with 2.5 GWp solar and 2.5 GWh storage capacity. Its wholly-owned subsidiary secured a 25-year PPA for a 930 MW solar plus 465 MW/1860 MWh BESS project, involving up to INR 10,000 crore investment and tariff of INR 3.53/kWh, boosting long-term renewable energy earnings visibility.
