Usha Martin has announced a board meeting on May 12, 2025, approving the financial results for the quarter and half-year ended March 31, 2025, with an unmodified auditor’s opinion. The Board proposed a dividend of Rs. 3 per equity share. Mr. Chirantan Chatterjee has been appointed Whole-Time Director for five years. New auditor appointments include M/s MKB & Associates (Secretarial), M/s Mani & Co. (Cost), and Deloitte Haskins & Sells LLP (Internal) for FY 2025-26.

Consolidated revenue rose to Rs. 896 Cr (vs. Rs. 829 Cr), while PBT dipped to Rs. 502 Cr (vs. Rs. 578 Cr) and net profit to Rs. 415 Cr (vs. Rs. 454 Cr). Wire & Wire Ropes continue as the primary revenue driver.

Legal proceedings related to mining leases and investigations continue, but management sees no operational or financial impact. A Rs. 1.579 Cr write-back from revised renewable energy obligations boosted other income.

Key points: steady revenue growth; slight profit moderation; consistent dividend; strengthened leadership; robust governance with new auditors; ongoing legal issues currently non-disruptive.
