Tata Steel has announced a board meeting on the financial results for the quarter and half-year. FY25 consolidated revenues slipped 5% YoY to Rs 2,18,543 Cr, but EBITDA rose 10% to Rs 25,802 Cr, supported by volume growth and cost control. India set records in crude steel production (~21.7 MT) and deliveries (~20.9 MT) with a robust 22% EBITDA margin. UK cut fixed costs by £230M despite EBITDA losses, while Netherlands improved deliveries by 17%. Capex was Rs 15,671 Cr; net debt stood at Rs 82,579 Cr with Rs 38,791 Cr liquidity. Key moves include commissioning India’s largest blast furnace, ramping up cold rolling capacity, starting UK EAF construction in 2025, and targeting Rs 11,500 Cr cost savings.
