Chalet Hotels has announced a board meeting to approve an amalgamation scheme with subsidiaries Sonmil Industries and The Dukes Retreat. It reported consolidated revenue of Rs.17,178 Cr and PBT of Rs.4,343 Cr, signaling robust growth. The company is acquiring Lakeview Mercantile’s prime Goa land for Rs.137 crore to develop a ~170-room luxury resort. Chalet plans to raise up to Rs.125 Cr through NCDs and commercial paper for expansion and debt refinancing. It increased its stake in Vikramaditya Renewable Energy by 14.31%, enhancing captive solar power sourcing. New NCD funds have been fully allocated to loan repayments.
