Punjab National Bank — Important, 13-05-2025: General Updates

Punjab National Bank has announced a board meeting and finalized the sale of its entire stake in India SME Asset Reconstruction Company Limited (ISARC) for Rs 34.05 Cr. ISARC contributed Rs 18.08 Cr to income and Rs 9.37 Cr to profit after tax in FY24. The transaction involves a change in sponsor and is expected to complete by the end of Q1 FY26. This divestment will free up capital and streamline PNB’s focus on core banking operations.
