Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. has announced a board meeting on May 15 to consider a Rs 1,500 Cr rights issue in its listed subsidiary, Mahindra Lifespace Developers Ltd (MLDL). The capital raise is aimed at cutting MLDL’s debt and boosting growth in residential and integrated city projects across Mumbai, Pune, and Bengaluru. MLDL focuses on premium homes and industrial clusters, reporting consolidated revenue of Rs 212.09 Cr and net worth of Rs 1,789.84 Cr in FY24. Mahindra plans to fully subscribe to its entitlement and any unsubscribed shares.
