GE Vernova T&D India Limited — Important, 14-05-2025: Capacity addition

GE Vernova T&D India is investing ₹140 Cr to set up HVDC valve and STATCOM production in Pallavaram (Chennai) and a testing platform in Noida, targeting completion by early 2027. This expansion addresses growing demand for grid stability and renewable integration in India and exports. Localizing production will cut lead times, enhance supply chain efficiency, and speed up delivery of advanced power electronics essential for modern power infrastructure upgrades.
