Star Housing Finance Limited has announced a board meeting on the financial results for the quarter and half-year. The company reported assets under management (AUM) of INR 520.7 crores, a 22% year-on-year growth, with total disbursements of INR 148.6 crores and a 54% increase in total income to INR 94.96 crores. Net interest income rose to INR 32.94 crores, while profit after tax grew 25% to INR 11.11 crores. Gross and net NPA stood at 1.84% and 1.40%, respectively, with approximately 70% of NPAs from legacy loans expected to be fully resolved within a year. The company completed its first direct assignment transaction worth INR 55.83 crores, strengthening its ALM and funding capacity. It operates mainly in Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, NCR, and Tamil Nadu, with plans to deepen presence in NCR, Tamil Nadu, and Maharashtra. Star HFL has digitized its entire loan process, investing around 1% of gross revenue in technology upgrades. The company aims to transition to NSE in the current financial year to support its long-term growth target of a INR 2,500 crores loan book, focusing on organic expansion without inorganic acquisitions.
