KAKA Industries is commissioning a 7.5 MW captive solar power plant in Kheda District, Gujarat, investing ₹25 Cr (including GST) to power its 8,00,000 sq. ft. manufacturing facility in Lasundra and other operations. The plant, operational by mid-August 2025, is expected to cut monthly power costs by over 50%, saving ₹45–50 Lakhs against current expenses of ₹85–90 Lakhs. This green energy initiative boosts operational efficiency, enhances tax benefits through 40% depreciation, and supports sustainability with an estimated CO₂ offset of over 280,000 tons over its lifetime.
