Bharat Heavy Electricals has announced a board meeting to approve the financial results for the quarter and half-year. Consolidated revenue rose to ₹28,339.48 Cr from ₹23,892.78 Cr a year ago. Profit before tax jumped to ₹745.60 Cr versus ₹242.66 Cr, while net profit almost doubled to ₹533.90 Cr. EPS improved to ₹1.53 from ₹0.81. The board approved a final dividend of ₹0.50 per share. Growth in Power and Industry segments underpinned the strong operational performance.
