Sun Pharma has announced a board meeting on its next-generation BLU-U® Blue Light Photodynamic Therapy Illuminator, receiving FDA approval for treating actinic keratosis. The new compact, lightweight LED device enhances patient comfort and works with LEVULAN KERASTICK® for skin lesion treatment. This adds strength to Sun Pharma’s dermatology portfolio and supports growth in specialty therapies, potentially increasing revenue from the U.S. market. The device will soon be available through the company’s specialty dermatology sales channels.
